Mild alternative made of rice

Many people refer to it as rice milk, but the correct term is actually rice drink. This because the term "milk" may only be used for milk from animals.

To make the cereal drink, whole rice is ground, boiled in water, and then mashed. This means that the starch in the rice is fermented and converted into sugar. This creates the naturally sweetish taste. After filtering, the liquid is enriched with vegetable oil and emulsified. Because the rice drink by itself has few nutrients, it is often enriched with vitamins or minerals.

For many people, rice drink is better tolerated than cow's milk because it is lactose and milk protein free. The sweet taste and mild rice fragrance are the perfect basis for making desserts such as pudding or ice cream. Coffee also ideally complements the rice drink.

Certified safety with the standard Allergy Seal of Quality

Both legislation and the Allergy Seal of Quality standard consider 81 allergenic compounds. However, the decisive difference lies in how these compounds are handled. While the law requires these compounds to be declared in cosmetic products, products bearing the Allergy Seal of Quality do not contain any of them.

Only products that meet our strict requirements are awarded the Allergy Seal of Quality. They are checked annually by an independent audit company. So care for and protect your skin with products bearing the Allergy Seal of Quality.
